Just so we're all aware...This is a huge entry.

Just so everyone is aware, for the next month, I'm going to be partaking in a few endeavors. Hopefully me telling you about this will help everyone to understand if I become very irritable over the course of November.

First of all, the semester is well under way and I've got madd projects and tests going on. Right up until the second week in December, when finals are over. Right now, I've got to be studying for my Abnormal Psychology exam on Tuesday. I also have a Social Psychology test on Thursday and I think a Personality Psychology test within the next week or two also. Meanwhile, I'm working hard on my final paper for my sociology research class, collecting information via interviews and observations (which, incase you don't know, takes a LOT of time to actually do--they take between an hour and an hour and a half to physically do and then an extra 3-4 hours to type everything up). I'm pretty sure that our second Native American Studies paper is going to be assigned soon too. I've also got two extra credit papers to do for Abnormal and Personality Psych classes. I wanted to take part in a research study for Social Psych as extra credit too, but I don't know if I'll actually have time now. We shall see.

The semester for UU is coming to a close soon, but that doesn't mean I'm not doing things with it still. Elections are coming up and I'm hoping to get a position on the E-board for next semester. There's also lots of marketing research to do for future semesters, and I'll probably be helping with that.

I've got things to do for the magazine being that now I'm not only Public Relations Director, but also Editor-In-Chief (oh, I didn't mention that before, did I? Well, yeah. I'm EIC now. Hi.). We're in the middle of a total site rejuvination, so there's a lot to do.

Starting November 1st, I'm going to be taking part in NaNoWriMo for the second year in a row. It's a writing competition where you have 30 days to write a 50,000 word novel. This means that for at least two hours a day (more likely to be two and a half to three hours a day), I'll have to be writing my novel. It should be fun, and hopefully I'll actually finish this year (last year I got to about 8500 words and couldn't do it anymore.

Around the end of November, I have two shows to go to. Bill and Trav's Bogus Journey Tour (The Academy Is..., We The Kings, Carolina Liar, and Hey Monday) comes to Buffalo, NY on November 23rd. I'm spending the weekend (instead of writing for NaNo...don't worry, I hope to spend a significant amount of time writing before I go) at Jess's apartment in Dunkirk and going to the show with her and Mary. Also, The Sassy Back Tour (Cobra Starship, Forever the Sickest Kids, Sing it Loud and Hit the Lights) is coming to Clifton Park, NY on November 30th. I'm going to that with Taylor and Mary. I've missed all of The Academy Is..., We the Kings, and Cobra Starship so much. It's been almost a whole year, I think, since I've seen the TAI boys. And a good 6 and 7 months since I've seen We the Kings and Cobra Starship respectively. I miss them very much.

I realize this entry is massive, in comparison to the rest of them, but when there's something I want to say, I'll say it. *nods* yes.

In other news, I carved a pretty sweet pumpkin on wednesday. I have taken pictures, but I'll post them later today, when I'm not so tired. I woke up really early today to help Taylor do her hair and make up for her Halloween Costume. She's being Amy Winehouse this year. I'll post pictures later today also. Now, I'm going back to bed.

purple rain, purple rain.

"I had a lovers quarrel with the world." - Robert Frost

I decided that I need to read more Robert Frost. From what I've heard of him, he was a very amazing person. And a very talented writer too.

it's 2:32pm and i want a nap.

Okay, so this idea wasn't my own, but I loved it and I wanted to do it anyways.

At the same exact time, I sent a text message to a few of my good friends. It said only, "How are you feeling right now at this exact moment?" These are some of the replies I got:

"Down. You?" -JJ.

"Confused." -Rosie.

"Extremely happy because I was thinking about texting you yesterday and you read my mind. And you darling?" -Celesta.

"Completely overrun by caffeine, pretending to be optimistic and kinda wishing i hadn't bothered getting out of bed this morning." -Alexis.

"Alright could be better but i'm fine." -Yellow Sean.

"I'm feeling ecstatic!" -Ryan.

"Mad that it's snowing and my feet are cold lol" -Emily.

"Rushed." -Jess.

"Slightly tired and nervous." -Lindsay.

I find that it's very rarely that people not only stop to ask, but also stop long enough to actually listen for an answer. We run into all sorts of people and this is just another example of that.

Not to be left out, I love my friends very very much.

All their personalities range so differently from one another, but in some weird way, they're so similar without even realizing it. Or perhaps it's more that some of them refuse to realize it.

the battle of light and dark

and all i can think of
is the way i'm the one
who charmed the one
who gave up on you.
